This didn’t start as a business. It started because I needed better soap - and because I believe people deserve better.

 

For years, I struggled with skin that flared under stress, reacted to everything, and never felt balanced. MRSA, sensitivity, trial and error - I lived it. One day, I found a lavender eucalyptus soap that actually helped. That bar changed the game. From there, I began studying ingredients, trying natural products, and supporting small-batch makers. Eventually, I stopped searching - and started creating my own.

 

That’s how Baker & Dempsey was born.

 

Some products I make by hand - like specific soap formulas and body whips. I pour, cut, cure, whip, label, and pack every one of those myself. Others I source - small-batch, clean soaps made by trusted U.S. artisans. But I don’t just sell them as-is. I name them. I design the packaging. I write the backstory. I create the label and the experience. Every curated bar is reimagined through my lens - shaped with the same intention I bring to the products I make from scratch.

 

Because to me, it’s all about care.

 

I believe in honesty. I believe in taking care of people. And I believe that everything - whether it’s made or curated - should carry a story. Every name in this shop means something. Some are inspired by scent and memory, others by fictional ideas that came to life while I worked. But none of them are random. This is storytelling through scent, design, and feeling.
